Greenwood, 22, an academy product of Manchester United, scored 35 goals and provided 12 assists in 129 appearances for the club before facing assault allegations involving his girlfriend.

Manchester United has also confirmed his departure, wishing him well in his new club:
“Mason Greenwood has left Manchester United and joined French club Olympique de Marseille on a permanent transfer.
We wish Mason all the best in his future career.”
