Mason Greenwood Departs Manchester United to Join Marseille

French club Olympique de Marseille has officially announced the permanent signing of English forward Mason Greenwood from Manchester United for €31.6m.

“Olympique de Marseille are thrilled to confirm the signing of Mason Greenwood from Manchester United. The 22-year-old striker has joined the club after successfully passing his medical.”

Greenwood, 22, an academy product of Manchester United, scored 35 goals and provided 12 assists in 129 appearances for the club before facing assault allegations involving his girlfriend.
