NLC Strike: Eight Super Eagles Players Stranded, Unable to Join the World Cup Qualifiers Squad

Eight Super Eagles players have been stranded in Nigeria and are unable to join their teammates following the suspension of local flights by the current National Labour Congress strike in Nigeria.

These players include: Maduka Okoye, Semi Ajayi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, and Paul Onuachu.

Prior to the commencement of the nationwide strike, 15 players had assembled in the Uyo camp ahead of the blockbuster clash against South Africa, scheduled for Friday, June 7th.
