Whitemoney has a thick skin and is not bothered by online trolls!
Reality TV star and singer Hazel Oyeze Onou, also known as Whitemoney, has confidently claimed that no Nigerian artist can match his musical talent. He believes most Nigerian artists lack lyrical depth.
In a recent interview with fellow reality star Doyin, Whitemoney stated that he no longer cares about criticisms. He said, “I created my own unique sound and don’t look up to my colleagues. I may not be the best, but no one is better than me.”
He added, “No artist makes music like mine. Their sounds don’t seem intentional to me. When you criticize me, you actually do me a favor. Keep doing it. Never stop.”
Whitemoney emphasized that he doesn’t like being stereotyped and doesn’t care about being compared to others. He said, “I know I am the best. No one can match my talent. What I am about to do in the industry will make people believe. I won’t just be an artist; I plan to be a businessman and own a record label in the future.”
Since winning the show Whitemoney has delved into different businesses one of which is music, his kind of music was not well received by Nigerians hence the heavy criticism
