Nollywood Actor, Junior Pope Laid to Rest Amid Tears

Amid heart melting show of emotion by sympathizers, the funeral service for the late Nollywood actor, John Odonwodo, popularly called Junior Pope, has commenced at St. Peter’s Catholic Parish, Ukehe, in Enugu State.

It would be recalled that the 43-year-old Nollywood star alongside four other crew members died on April 10 when their boat capsized in the Anam River while returning from a movie shoot.

Earlier, the deceased family had disclosed that the actor would be laid to rest on May 17 in his Uwala Abaka, Ukehe hometown, in Nsukka, Igboetiti Local Government Area of Enugu State.
