Chidike Emmanuel, a content creator and skit maker, was tragically shot dead on May 11, 2024, in the Mpape area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Emmanuel was on set to film a content when he and five others were attacked by armed men.
Initial reports indicate that the attackers demanded money, and Emmanuel gave them N2,000, but the situation escalated, leading to his death.

Loveline Imaobong, an X user allegedly familiar with the incident, informed the public via X (formerly Twitter) that Emmanuel’s body was at a mortuary, urging anyone with information about his family to contact the Mpape police station.
