Newcastle Humiliates Tottenham at the St. James Park

Newcastle United humiliated Tottenham Hotspur during Matchday 32 in the English Premier League at St. James’ Park.

Swedish forward Alexander Isak’s first goal in the 30th minute broke the deadlock as the Magpies took an early lead.

Just after assisting Isak’s brilliant strike, Anthony Gordon extended the lead to 2-0 for Newcastle United as they maintained the first-half advantage.

The second half saw Newcastle score twice; Alexander Isak and Fabian Schar led the Magpies to an emphatic 4-0 win. Isak completed his brace in the 51s

t minute, while Anthony Gordon also provided a brace of assists.

Despite Tottenham Hotspur’s terrific 73% ball possession compared to Newcastle’s 27%, Tottenham still couldn’t reduce the considerable goal deficit suffered.

The brilliant result has moved Newcastle above Manchester United with 50 points and just behind their victim, with ten points separating them in the standings.
