Two undergraduate students from the University of Abuja (UniAbuja) have achieved a significant milestone by securing a substantial grant totaling N1,522,980 to conduct research in their respective areas of interest.Â
Ajewole Peter Tosin and Muhammed Halima Idris, both enrolled in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, will spearhead their teams of researchers in their ambitious projects.
Tosin’s research team will delve into the application of low-green technology to preserve beans and maize, with a particular focus on enhancing food security.
 On the other hand, Halima Idris and her fellow researchers will explore the efficacy of orange peels as natural repellants for mosquitoes.
