—

Vice President Kashim Shettima has started a program to help farmers in Nigeria. It’s called the Kashim Shettima Foundation’s Agricultural Empowerment Programme. They launched it in Kaduna State recently.

The program gives things like tractors, seeds, fertilizers, and chemicals to farmers to help them farm better.

Vice President Shettima thinks farmers are like heroes because they work hard to feed the country.

He wants to help them and make farming better in Nigeria. He said that farming is super important for Nigeria’s economy. It makes a lot of money and gives jobs to many people.

But farming has some problems in Nigeria. Sometimes, farmers don’t have enough tools or money to farm well.

There are also issues like fights and old-fashioned ways of farming that make it hard for farmers to do their job.

The Vice President said that Kaduna State has a lot of potential for farming, and they want to help farmers there.

The Kashim Shettima Foundation’s Agricultural Empowerment Programme will give farmers in Kaduna tools, advice, and money to farm better.

Senator Shettima promised to help farm on 500 hectares of land through the program. He will also give money to farmers for four months while they plant their crops. After that, groups of farmers will get money to start big farms.

The Vice President also said that the government wants to help farming in Nigeria. They have plans to give out food from storage and make farming tools cheaper. They hope this will help the country have enough food.

The Vice President thanked the Kaduna State Government and other people who are helping with farming.

The Governor of Kaduna State said they support the program and are thankful to the Vice President for choosing Kaduna to start it.

Other people at the event also talked about how important the program is for young people and the economy. They promised to help the program succeed.

A lot of important people came to the event, showing that they care about farming and want to help make it better.
