Akpabio urges lawmakers to prioritize quality representation and service delivery to Nigerians

President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, spoke about the importance of lawmakers, who are people elected to make laws, to do their job well.

He said that if they do their job properly, Nigeria, which is the country they work for, will become better.

He said this during an event at Bayero University, Kano, where they gave special awards to some important people.

Akpabio praised Senator Barau Jibrin and Dr. Akinwumi Adesina for their good work. He said they have helped their communities and the country as a whole.

He mentioned that Senator Barau has done a lot to help the people who voted for him. He also said Dr. Adesina has done great things as the President of the African Development Bank.

Akpabio talked about how important education is for the progress of society. He said that lawmakers should compete in a healthy way to make sure that good projects are done to improve education.

He mentioned that President Bola Tinubu has a plan to make things better in the education sector, and lawmakers should support it.

He said that Senator Barau and Dr. Adesina are examples of people who work hard and succeed.

“By doing so, we will contribute to the realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in the education sector.

“As we honor Senator Barau and Dr. Adesina today, let us remember the importance of service, leadership, and perseverance. Their achievements remind us that with hard work, determination, and a strong sense of purpose, anything is possible.

He said their achievements should inspire others to work hard and achieve their goals too.

He ended his speech by congratulating them and encouraging everyone to learn from their success.
