Social Media Attacks Don’t Matter To Me, Let The Results Speak – Musa

—

Nigeria’s Super Eagles head captain, Ahmed Musa, appears unaffected by the criticism circulating on social media regarding his inclusion in the squad for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Despite facing a mix of reactions about his selection, Musa remains undeterred by questions surrounding his contribution to the team.

The winger, recognized for his on-field experience and leadership, has become a topic of discussion among football enthusiasts, with some expressing reservations about his role in the squad.

Nevertheless, Musa has demonstrated resilience in the face of scrutiny from social media, stating that the criticisms do not impact him.

“I notice the comments on social media, but I don’t pay attention to what people are saying. I consistently put in hard work so that my performance on the pitch speaks for itself,” he conveyed to reporters in Abidjan.

“This is the same approach my teammates adopt. People may talk about our players, but I firmly believe we have the best players here, and they are all talented.”

In essence, Musa’s focus remains on his dedication to the game, emphasizing that actions on the field speak louder than online opinions.

He, along with his teammates, is determined to prove their worth and showcase the collective strength of the squad amidst external discussions.
