Dangote reveals commitment to breaking new grounds with innovation

Aliko Dangote, the chairman of Dangote Cement Plc, stated that the company’s goal is to innovate and drive business while generating value for all of its stakeholders.

Dangote also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to developing the economies of Nigeria and Africa so they are self-sufficient and net exporters of manufactured goods. This was revealed during the Graduate Trainee Program’s 81 trainees’ orientation, which aims to increase employment in the nation.

Additionally, the was used to honor exceptional employees with the “Long Service Award” and the “Hall of Wall of Fame Employee Award” for upholding the company’s fundamental principles of excellence, entrepreneurship, customer service, and leadership caliber.

“We are recognising a few employees for their many years of dedication to the business. Additionally, we are commemorating our graduate trainees, who are formally wrapping up their induction training.”

“With 52 million metric tonnes of capacity annually produced around the continent, we continue to be Africa’s top cement manufacturer. Additionally, we are planning to commission our plants in Cote D’Ivoire, and in Itori, Ogun State, work has begun on another six million tonnes.”

“With perseverance on our part, we have removed Nigerians’ reliance on imported cement and made our country a cement exporter to several bordering nations. When our petrochemical plant completely opens in the coming months, this similar scenario will occur in the energy industry,” according to Dangote.

Arvind Pathak, Group Managing Director of Dangote Cement, stated that the company’s seasoned workers have demonstrated quality, dedication, and creativity in their service offerings.
