BREAKING: Fighting resumes between Israel and Hamas

Since the expiration of the truce, more than 20 Palestinians have lost their lives in Gaza due to renewed Israeli attacks, as reported by health officials. The Israeli army, in a troubling escalation, has dropped leaflets urging evacuation in already heavily bombarded southern Gaza, indicating an expanding offensive.

According to the Health Ministry in Gaza, within less than two hours of military operations resuming, Israeli air strikes have claimed the lives of at least nine people across the Gaza Strip.

In the southern regions, a devastating attack on a house in Rafah resulted in the deaths of at least six individuals, while one person lost their life in Khan Younis, as reported by journalist Hind Khoudary.

Moving to central Gaza, the Maghazi area witnessed the loss of at least seven lives in the wake of Israeli airstrikes.

Adding to the distress, Israel has been instructing residents in specific neighborhoods of Khan Younis to evacuate in anticipation of an expected attack in the area.

However, the situation remains complex, as Khoudary noted, “The Israeli forces are dropping leaflets for people in Khan Younis asking them to evacuate to Rafah, but they are also targeting Rafah.”

This highlights the intricate and perilous circumstances faced by the civilian population caught in the crossfire of the ongoing conflict.
