Being Friends Was A Better Option – Vee On Breakup With Neo

Reality television personality Vee stated that if she and her ex-boyfriend Neo had broken up after the Big Brother Show, they would still be friends. The duo gave us a show and they made perfect sense together. So when the news of their breakup rolled in, it was very sad, especially for people rooting for them.

When Neo showed up for the 2020 lockdown season, Vee claimed to have developed feelings for him right away, so she decided to take a chance. It was love at first sight for Vee and she was not afraid to show how she felt towards Neo.

Nevertheless, she continued, saying that splitting up following the BBNaija show would have been in their mutual best interests. Letting go was the best option for Vee and she did that graciously without holding grudges.

She further cleared that Neo was one of the only people that understood her and she was herself around him and that was one of the perks of their relationship.

Vee gave an explanation of why she thought it would have been preferable for her and Neo to move on, saying that if things had gone that way, they most likely would still be friends today.

Since the public has a propensity to get connected to things quickly and believes that celebrities are perfect, she acknowledged that she does not want to be in a public relationship again, but she also stated that it probably wouldn’t have affected her perspective on connections.

Here is what she had to say:

“In my honest opinion I feel like it should’ve been better if after we came out of the house, we just went our separate ways. It would have been easier for both of us, but because of the experiences we had, the lockdown, one of the biggest seasons, it came with a lot of social pressure, insults, and drags, and he was the only person I could relate to whatever I was going through,”

“Maybe we’d still be friends. Maybe a lot of things would’ve been different. Maybe the way I see relationships would be different, I now don’t want to be in a public relationship again because I know how the public gets attached to things so easily and they see celebrities as people that do not make mistakes.”
