Manchester Derby: City dent United at Old Trafford

The Manchester derby encounter finished with City beating their neighbor at full time at the Old Trafford Stadium. The Cityzen took control of the game at both halves, making United have a run for their money.

First Half:
Manchester City led in the 25 minutes after Haaland converted from the spot kick for the Cityzen. Andre Onana denied Haaland, extending the lead to 2-0 in the extra minutes of the first half. As expected, Manchester City took control of the game in the first half with 61% ahead of the host Manchester United who managed 39%. City had 7 shots on the goal against United, who had 4.

Second Half:
Manchester City’s resilience continued in the second half as Haaland made his brace in the 48th minute to extend City’s lead to 2-0. As United continued to soak pressure, Foden got the ball behind Onana giving City a decisive 3-0 victory in the 79th minute.

City level on point 24 with Arsenal, while United is dropped to 8 places.
