My Dad cried after watching me play against my brother – Mac Allister

Liverpool midfielder Mac Allister has revealed the emotional moment his dad cried after watching him play against his brother during their second game of the UEFA Europa League at Anfield last night.

Liverpool hosted Mac Allister’s brother Kevin’s team Union St Gilloise at Anfield last night.

“It was nice for the family, very emotional”.

“I’ve played against my older brother before but never against Kevin, it was special”.

“My dad was here too, he knows what it means, he cried a little bit”.

Liverpool defeated the Belgian side by 2-0 following Gravenberch and Jota’s strikes that came in the 44th and 90+2 minutes. Klopp’s boys, with two wins in two top Group E of the UEFA Europa League.
