A Dunamis Church Branch located at Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, the Benue State collapsed claiming the life of the Pastor.
The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 3 October. According to Channels Television, four church workers including the pastor were observing prayers at the church when the incident occurred. The other three individuals survived the collapse with minor injuries.
According to Catherine Sewuese Anene, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Benue State Police Command, the Pastor known as Pastor Emmanuel had died while receiving treatment at the Benue Teaching Hospital.
Although the cause of the incident is still unclear, police operatives from the C Division, North Bank are working to investigate the cause of the collapse.
