Rihanna, A$AP Rocky reveal rare name for baby no 2

—

The celebrity parents, Rihanna and rapper A$AP Rocky have finally revealed the name of their second son; Riot Rose Mayers.

According to the US entertainment website TMZ, the child was born in early August.

The birth certificate acquired by The Blast read that Riot was born on August 1, 2023, at 7.41 a.m. at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

The couple kept the naming tradition that favors the letter â€R.’ Their firstborn son, RZA Athelston Mayers, was born in May 2022.

Although the inspiration behind the name is not given, there are speculations that it could be an homage to A$AP Rocky’s recent release Riot, which featured Pharrell Williams.

Rihanna has previously said that becoming a mother has made her feel she can “take on the world.” True to the world, she is not holding back.

“Rihanna and A$AP will spend the early days of parenthood out of the public eye and won’t make any immediate plans to debut the new baby,” a source told Entertainment Tonight on August 24, when the news that the couple had welcomed their baby was first confirmed.

Another source added, “Rihanna and A$AP are great right now. They’re so excited to grow their family and are so united when it comes to parenting. They have so much fun together and are very in love. They already shared a special connection and parenting together has made their bond even stronger.”
