Afreximbank Inks An Agreement With The UAE To Enhance Trade Inside Africa

—

In order to advertise the TRADAR Club solution in the market, the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Trade Center inked a memorandum of understanding.

In accordance with the Cooperation Agreement, which Afreximbank and the UAE Trade Center signed during the press conference and business meetings held in conjunction with the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2023) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), the two institutions will begin coordinating their efforts in a number of areas of collaboration to support the TRADAR Club goals.

Afreximbank claims that Walid Hareb AlFalahi, the chief executive of the UAE Trade Center, signed the agreement on behalf of his organization while Head of Trade Intelligence Solutions, Ms. Lizanne Case, signed on behalf of Afreximbank.

It said that through reliable trade data and consulting services, the Afreximbank TRADAR Club, a recently established distinguished member-driven network, helps global enterprises and leaders to transform trade and investments in Africa.

Afreximbank is building solid ties with a wide range of partners in order to spread the solution in the market. According to the terms of the cooperation agreement with the UAE Trade Center, the two organizations will work together in a variety of areas, including grants, technical assistance, capacity building, business matchmaking, and inter-institutional cooperation. They will also provide business-oriented information to promote trade and investment.

The agreement is anticipated to promote increased engagement by enabling the exchange of ideas and the debate of shared issues in order to enhance member connections and collaboration, it was further noted.

TRADAR Club will act as a clearinghouse for information to facilitate the exchange of trustworthy trade data, trade policies, customer databases, research reports, expert analysis, directories of African investment data, rules and regulations, general updates on statistics, business data, and investment incentives, among other things.

Additionally, TRADAR Club members will receive invitations to trade trips and exhibitions.
