Anambra Ohaneze President, Udodeme  Lauds Umeh On Contributions To Igbo Agenda

The Anambra State Chapter of Ohaneze Ndigbo has applauded Senator Victor Umeh for his numerous contributions to Igbo nation and Nigeria on the whole.

The President, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Anambra State branch, Prince Emeka Udodeme who led the group that gave the applause during a courtesy visit to the Senator, hailed his doggedness in championing the course of Ndigbo throughout his political career.

According to ABS report, Prince Udodeme appealed to the elder statesman who served in the Eight Senate to always nurture the younger ones with his wisdom, insights and wealth of experience.

The National Vice President, Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Association of Town Unions, Anambra State, Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene described Senator Umeh as a star and an outstanding figure of Igbo descent, and encouraged Igbo youths to emulate heroes from Igboland who have achieved great feats in their various chosen careers.

Responding, Senator Umeh who said he  was elated by the visit noted that only an inclusive system of governance can bring lasting peace and progress in Nigeria.

He urged Ndi Anambra to stick to the path of progress that has been established by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Governor Willie Obiano’s administration.

Representatives of various communities in Igbo land were said to be part of the visit.
