A 33-year-old man identified as Dominic Kenneth has appeared before an Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly removing his neighbor’s scrotum during a fight.
The accused who pleaded not guilty to the crime on Wednesday, March 6, is facing a one count charge of causing grievous harm to his neighbor.
The Prosecutor, ASP Christian Okonofua, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on March 1, at about 12:20 p.m. at No 1, Abdul Rasaq Street, Balogun area of  Ikorodu.
He revealed that Kenneth unlawfully caused grievous harm to Mr Pascal Uche, his neighbor who is also a co-shop owner in the market, by allegedly removing one scrotum from his private part during a fight.
The prosecutor stated further that the offence contravened Section 245 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
While adjourning the case until March 14, for mention, the Magistrate, Mrs A.O. Onalaja, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N250, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
