22-year-old Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Saleswoman in Yobe

The Yobe State Police Command has apprehended a suspect allegedly involved in the stabbing of a 24-year-old salesgirl. 
Identified as Sani Musa, also known as Regis Oga Soja, the 22-year-old was apprehended in Nayi Nawa ward, Damaturu, on Tuesday around 11:30 PM.
According to DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, the Police Public Relations Officer, Musa was found in possession of the victim’s snatched cell phone, an Itel A663LC with an MTN SIM card, along with various charms, when he was arrested at a hideout. Following interrogation, Musa allegedly confessed to his involvement in the crime.
The Commissioner of Police, Garba Ahmed, expressed relief at the swift operation conducted by the police force, emphasizing its effectiveness and timeliness.
He further urged officers to sustain their efforts in making Yobe State safer for its residents by continuing to crack down on criminal activities.
CP Garba also extended gratitude to the communities for their steadfast support in the ongoing fight against crime.
He reassured the public that proactive measures are being implemented to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
