2027: Plateau Youth Group Vows to Deliver One Million Votes for Tinubu

Youth leaders in Plateau State under the banner of the City Boy Movement (CBM) have pledged to mobilise one million votes for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The pledge was announced by the Plateau State Director of the movement, Mr. David Daser, in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja. He said the commitment reflects members’ confidence in the Tinubu administration’s policies and development programmes.

According to Daser, the resolution followed separate strategic meetings with members of the State Working Committee and coordinators from the 17 local government areas of Plateau State.

He explained that the meetings were convened to review resolutions reached during the movement’s recent national retreat and to strengthen grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 elections.

Daser said the sessions also aligned members with the “Operation Rock Solid” initiative, a campaign aimed at delivering one million votes for President Tinubu’s second-term bid.

“I shared key takeaways from the recently concluded National Retreat, where we reviewed our direction as a movement and the responsibility before us.

“Together, we aligned with the Operation Rock Solid initiative, a statewide commitment to mobilise one million votes for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027,” he said.

He described the meetings as strategic planning sessions designed to reinforce the movement’s structure and enhance its grassroots mobilisation across the state.

Daser also applauded the Federal Government’s decision to expand the Nigerian Army through the establishment of additional divisions, saying the move would improve operational coverage, eliminate security gaps and strengthen the military’s response to emerging security threats.

He further highlighted several ongoing federal road projects in Plateau State, including the Akwanga–Jos–Gombe Road, Babban Lamba–Sharam Road, and the Mararaba Jama’a–Pankshin–Langtang–Mikang–Taraba Road.

According to him, the projects demonstrate the Tinubu administration’s commitment to its Renewed Hope Agenda by improving infrastructure and connectivity across the region.

Daser commended members of the State Working Committee and the 17 local government coordinators for their dedication to the movement’s objectives.

He expressed confidence that the unity and commitment of members would strengthen the City Boy Movement in Plateau and contribute significantly to President Tinubu’s re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
