2026 WCQ: Jose Peseiro invites 23 players for the Lesotho and Zimbabwe games

Super Eagles Manager, Jose Peseiro has invited 23 players to camp ahead of the Eagle’s World Cup qualifier ties against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

Nigeria will host Lesotho on November 16, 2023, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo then travel to travail to Rwanda on November 19, to play Zimbabwe at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali where they Zimbabwe.

Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, and Samuel Chkwueze are the notable absentees from the 23-man list and this has been related to these players battling injuries in their respective clubs.

24-year-old Bayer Leverkusen forward Nathan Tella earned his maiden call-up with the Super.
