The Three Lions of England have secured a place in the quarter-finals of the 2024 Euros after a dramatic comeback against a resilient Slovakia in extra time.
First Half: England were stunned as Slovakia took the lead with a 25th-minute goal from Slavia Prague forward Ivan Schranz. Despite England dominating possession with 75% compared to Slovakia’s 25%, they couldn’t find the back of the net in the first half.
Second Half: Jude Bellingham and Captain Harry Kane led England’s charge, each scoring in the dying minutes of the second half to level the game, pushing it into extra time.
