The 2024 UEFA Euros round of 16 teams were confirmed last night following the completion of all group stage games.
Ukraine made history by becoming the first team to earn 4 points in the group stage and not advance to the round of 16. Despite their goalless draw against Belgium in the final Group E match, all teams in Group E ended with 4 points.
Romania and Belgium progressed due to goal advantage, while Ukraine’s minus two goal difference resulted in their elimination.
Germany and Switzerland advanced from Group A, while Spain and reigning champions Italy moved forward from Group B, England and Denmark topped Group C and Austria and France advanced from Group D, Romania and Belgium secured their spots from Group E. Despite Portugal’s defeat to Georgia, they topped Group F and are joined by Turkey.
The third-place teams progressing are the Netherlands, Georgia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Croatia.
The round of 16 matches, starting on June 30, 2024, are as follows:

Germany vs. Denmark
Portugal vs. Slovenia
France vs. Belgium
England vs. Slovakia
Romania vs. Netherlands
Austria vs. Turkey
Italy vs. Switzerland
Teams will have a four-day rest and preparation period before the round of 16 fixtures commence.
