The Super Eagles of Nigeria, under the guidance of Jose Peseiro have released a 40 – man provisional squad ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.Â
The 40-man squad comprises players plying their brands abroad and in the local leagues. The squad will be reduced to at least 20+ players before the tournament kicks off next month in the Ivory Coast.

The tournament, which is set to begin on the 13th of January, will take place in the Ivory Coast. The Super Eagles, who are in group A, will be in action on January 14, 2024 against Equatorial Guinea at exactly 3 pm Nigerian time.
